Pen Tray is a considered alternative to the pen cup and a better way to organise your desk. Five clean grooves hold your pens flat and within reach, so they're easy to see and pick up.
Each tray is sanded and oiled by hand, then set on a powder-coated high-carbon steel base that adds weight and keeps the tray steady on your desk.
Footprint 260 × 240 mm. Lifts the screen 140 mm at the rear. Folds flat to 18 mm. 820 g. Holds laptops up to 8 kg.
Solid ash
Sourced from the Black Forest in Germany, ash is a light-toned, close-grained hardwood whihc is sturdy and damage resistant . Its neutral colour suits a bright desk.
Black ash — a finish, not a wood
The same Black Forest ash, stained black before it is oiled. The grain stays legible beneath, so it reads as wood rather than paint.
Solid walnut
Sourced from California, walnut is a durable, long-lasting and damage-resistant hardwood. Its rich chocolate tone is complemented by a clear, open grain. The warmest of the three, and the one with the most visible character.
Cork
A natural, renewable material with a high friction coefficient. It grips the desk, absorbs small movements and will not mark a finished surface.
Finish
Each tray is sanded smooth and hand-oiled ,We use a natural oil that soaks into the wood rather than sitting on top, protecting the surface while keeping the grain open and matt to the touch.
